The Physical Therapy Assistant promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist; Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; Administers treatment programs for patients; Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining updating, and studying therapy histories; Evaluates abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist’s interpretations of patient evaluations and test results; Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records; Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities; Helps patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses; Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance; Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations and JACHO standards

JOB DUTIES: Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to patients.
JOB DUTIES: Performs and ensures patient safety while operating radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations (including tomography), portable x-ray, and CR processing. Assist physician in detection and localization of the patient’s anatomy using the appropriate technical factors, age specific positioning and shielding techniques appropriate for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST/CT/XR preferred but not required

Assist physician in detection and localization of the patient's anatomy using the appropriate technical factors, are specific positioning and shielding techniques appropriate for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

CLINICAL LAB SCIENTIST
JOB DUTIES: Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Toxicology, Phlebotomy, Blood Bank. Ensures proper functioning of laboratory equipment by performing preventative and corrective maintenance. Calibrates and assesses the accuracy of laboratory equipment.
· California CLS License
· One year experience as a generalist including blood bank
Full time with benefits; 36 hours per week --- Starting January 2022

JOB DUTIES: Performs ABG punctures according to P/P manual; takes and records patient vitals signs, including breath sounds, ventilator status, mental status, and response to treatment; provides the patient with specialized, personal care, assembles and disassembles, operates and maintains, troubleshoots; cleans and performs minor repairs on equipment; sets ventilator parameters according to P/P manual and doctor orders. Performs EKG’s, SVN treatments, O2 Therapy and notifies RN/MD of any adverse findings; files and maintains patient EKG and ECHO charts and assures that records are complete.

DIRECTOR OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
The Director of Health Information Management has the authority and responsibility of directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the medical records program of the hospital; supervising and managing department operations; and is directly responsible for supervising the Medical Record Analysts/Coders, and Medical Records Clerk. The Director of Health Information Management is also the Privacy Officer of the Hospital and is required to provide guidance and instruction to the hospital employees. Provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional behavior in the multidisciplinary acute care setting and other duties as assigned.
Processes Medical Staff Applications and Re-appointment Applications. Maintains the providers credentialing file and quality file. Takes minutes at various meetings as needed.
The Director of Health Information Management reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and ultimately to the Chief Executive Officer.
· Health Information Technician (RHIT) and/or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
· Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role; prefer healthcare setting in acute care.
· Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

SHIFTS/HOURS: 40 hours
The Commercial Billing Supervisor accurately prepares all inpatient and outpatient insurance claims according to the proper method requested by each individual company for primary and secondary insurances in a timely manner; Must have strong knowledge of Medicare, CA Medicaid and swing bed billing codes and requirements; insures correctness of all information when filing insurance claims; provides quality control feedback as it relates to the quality, accuracy and timeliness of other departments as it relates to the billing process; is familiar with regulatory changes issued by intermediaries and insurance companies to determine how charges could impact claims processing and communicates with CEO such changes; performs general clerical functions such as answering telephones, typing, compiling necessary reports and maintaining filing systems for information needed to complete work within the department; responds to all daily correspondence and inquiries both written and oral; processes corrected claims, i.e. late charges; utilizes the HIS to its full capacity by CRT and continues to grow in the use of the computer system as its capabilities expand; must have strong math skills; must be able to use Excel and Microsoft Software, CPSI and SSI computer skills preferred and performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma
Billing/Collections experience 3 years preferred
